KYC): Important Terms and Conditions
- Name in the account to be opened through V-KYC should be as per the name mentioned on Aadhaar Card.
- Customer should have exactly the same name in PAN Card and Aadhaar Card.
- Only Indian residents aged 18 and above can open an account. This service is exclusively for new customers.
- The Full KYC account opening process is unavailable to customers whose address fetched from UIDAI is deemed incomplete by the bank.
- The customer should not be a lunatic, blind, or illiterate person.
- Customer should not be a politically exposed person.
- Account Operation: Accounts must be opened and operated in a single name. Joint accounts are not permitted under this facility.
- Address in the account will be as per the address received from Aadhaar.
- Account will be opened only after successful completion of the V-KYC process and due authorization by the Bank.
- The Bank reserves the right to decline/reject an account opening request.
- Account details will be communicated to the registered mobile number.
- A request for a Debit Card can be placed at the time of the account opening application.
- Location and IP address of the device through which the account is opened will be accessed by the Bank.
- Customers will get the option to open a Savings Bank account in any of the branches located in the city mentioned in the Aadhaar Card or corresponding address with proper proof of address.
